This is how you pick up the 4-6-7-10 split.notice how he uses a harder bowling ball which maybe hard plastic or resin.Widely used by professionals to get more pin action when difficult spares arise through out the course of ten or twleve frames.

Bowling Is Cancelled For Inclement Weather

What to do when bowling is cancelled for inclement weather. First off verify it is cancelled through your league secretary or president of the league. Secondly Call you bowling alley to find out indeed it has been cancelled by an executive officer from the bowling league you bowl on.

Never trust someone who does not bowl with you on your league. Thirdly call your team on the phone and advise them it has been cancelled do to the inclement weather. Give them specific information so the can avoid a costly trip to the bowling alley.

Last but not least keep a good eye on your local weather incase you head out for your bowling league. Sometime it is a good idea to play the radio on the way to the bowling center. Or text messaging could save you from being very frustrated if you cannot bowl when you arrive.

This type of cancellation happens from time to time in a regular league season but do not worry.Your League President and League Secretary have already taken immediate action by notifying your bowling alley and making attempts to contact bowlers.Just incase your Team Captain cannot reach you.

Most bowling leagues already have a plan of action on "How to deal with inclement weather" for your safety and others.Do not worry it only adds a week onto the bowling league. It will not cost you anymore on the league either.

I am sure they will be glad to know they did not have too risk there lives for a few games of bowling. Not to mention having a break from riding back and forth spending gas money for no apparent reason. If you are a regular league bowler you will be glad to receive a message preventing you from being on the road and driving in the pending inclement weather.

Fundementals of Spare Shooting

Today's average bowler is more of a strike shooter than a spare shooter. He takes careful aim; he concentrates on the strike shot; but on spares he tends to get a little lax. This is a costly mistake. Spares are of prime importance, and should be granted as much, or more, concentration than the normal strike delivery.

Without the spare credits on your score, the strike balls aren't nearly as important as they might be. I tell my pupils to make their spares—the strikes will take care of themselves.

When attempting to convert spare leaves, always keep these two cardinal rules in mind:

1)Position yourself on the approach diametrically opposite your pin leave. Give yourself as much lane to shoot over as possible. If your pin leave is on the left side of the pin deck—say the 7-pin—position yourself to the right of the approach.

2)Always face your work. By this I mean, turn your feet and your shoulders, your whole body, directly facing the pins you are aiming at. This will insure that your pendulum swing in spare shooting is the same as it is when you are angling for strikes.

That is the fundementals of spare shooting

How to Score Ten Pin Bowling

1)A game consists of ten frames. Each box on your score- sheet represents one frame.

2)The maximum number of balls rolled in each frame is two.

3)If you get a "strike"—all ten pins with your first ball —score 10 in that box, plus the number of pins you knock down with your next two balls. Thus, the maximum score in each frame is 30—representing three strikes in a row.

4)If you get a "spare"—knock down all ten pins on two rolls—score 10 in that box, plus the number of pins you knock down with your next ball. Thus, the maximum you could get would be 20 in that frame (for a strike following the spare).
Should you knock down five pins, you would get a score of 15 in that box.

5)If you fail to knock down all ten pins with two balls, you simply record the number of pins you toppled.

That's is how to score in ten pin bowling.

Bowling in the Stompers League

Bowling in the Stompers League.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen how are your bowling leagues going this year? Mine has been a blast. I've already shot 704 scratch this year with a nice game of 279. You know how close that was to shooting a perfect game of 300. Let's just say,I hate a hanging 7 pin.Bowling in the Stompers League is so much FUN!

With all the new bowling tips that my ebook is providing me. It is really starting to pay off in so many ways. My pin count is higher on my most difficult spares and my strike ratio is getting more persistent than ever before. I'm averaging around 212per game on 2 different oil patterns. I always liked a house shot with a little back-end in the last 15 ft. of the bowling lane.

Our team is in 4th Place after 10 weeks of bowling. Which at one time we held 1st place for about 4 weeks. But the competition is fierce, not to mention the healthy handicap some of the teams are getting. I know everyone know's exactly what,I'm talking about when it come's to new bowlers

I know, I was one of them just a few short years ago! But anyways ,I thought you would like to know how my progress was going with my new e-book and the wonderful bowling tips and techniques that are changing the way I bowl and to encourage you to keep up with my success.

If you like you can check out my standings anytime at www.leaguesecretary.com come find me I'm bowling in the Stompers League!
